Services like expedition leaders, accommodation, transport within our destination region and most meals are included in the price. Personal equipment, insurance and international flights are not. You'll find the exact details under each adventure.

Our guides are trained in first aid and carry a basic first-aid kit including a travel pharmacy. In extreme cases, we have a GPS device to call in outside help (satellite reception required!).

Payment is made in advance by bank transfer. A deposit is due when you book; the remaining amount isn't due until 30 days before the trip starts.

We'll provide you with a detailed list of all the gear you need in advance. In general, you'll need suitable clothing, appropriate footwear and outdoor equipment, which varies depending on the destination region.

Our expeditions are designed so that no special training is required. We do expect a basic level of fitness. It's certainly an advantage to work on your endurance before the expedition starts.

As a rule, you don't need any special prior experience. Our expedition leaders have all the skills we need. If there are special requirements, you'll find them described under the respective adventure.

Our teams consist of 8–12 people (including guides).

Our expeditions are led by experienced guides from our team. On most expeditions, there are even two expedition leaders. In some regions, we also draw on the experience of local expedition leaders.
